*Green
Valley Recreation (GVR)*
Green Valley Recreation is a non-profit organization
operating 12 recreation and
social centers throughout Green Valley. Amenities include
23 heated swimming
pools and spas, facilities for shuffleboard, tennis,
racket and bocce ball,
billiards, and 5 fitness centers. Arts and Crafts facilities
abound at GVR, with
camera, ceramics, clay and woodworking studios, and
a lapidary shop. There is
also a Computer Lab available to renters in GVR affiliated
properties. Special
events at GVR include dances, concerts, theatre, lectures,
movies, ice cream
socials and more. Over 500 special interest classes
are offered including arts
and crafts, ceramics, clay and sculpture, dance, health
and fitness, music,
painting and drawing.
Most rental properties managed
by Long Realty – Green Valley Rentals are
affiliated with GVR, and renters of these properties
may purchase guest cards
for use while in residence. Guest cards admit tenants
to all GVR facilities and
may be purchased for a nominal fee at any of the GVR
centers. A GVR letter will
be provided as part of your check-in packet; simply
present it at any of the
centers and pick up your cards.
*Individual Subdivision
Amenities*
A number of Green Valley subdivisions have their own
recreation facilities in
addition to GVR affiliation. Some few have no GVR
affiliation, although the
subdivision recreation facilities are available to
tenants.
*Quail Creek Amenities*
The Quail Creek subdivision, while not affiliated
with Green Valley Recreation
(GVR), offers superb facilities to renters. The Arts
and Technology Center at QC
houses a computer room (computer classes are available),
a Fine Arts Room
(gourds, painting, quilting) and facilities for working
in wood, stained glass,
ceramics and silver. Additional facilities include
2 pools (1 lap pool), a hot
tub and Fitness Center. The Quail Creek Clubhouse
offers a Bar, Library,
Ballroom and meeting rooms. Activities there include
entertainment, dances, and
clubs for cards, books, birding and hiking, and much
more. A gourmet Restaurant
as well as a Snack Bar is to be found at the Quail
Creek Grill. All these
amenities are available to renters of properties at
Quail Creek at no extra

*Rancho Sahuarita Amenities*
Rancho Sahuarita (located just north of Green Valley)
is a fast-growing
family-friendly community with splendid amenities
open to renters with at least
a four-month lease. The Rancho Sahuarita clubhouse
boasts two pools and a
complete water park for children.
